I'm new to this vein of printers, or at least as far as printing on cd's/dvd's goes. Haven't bought a new printer in probably 10 years.
Looking for something that, without breaking the bank, will be able to do printing directly onto CD's/DVD's in color. The output would need to be something good enough to sell. Would be looking at a fair amount of volume going through it as well, 500-1000 cd's or so at least within a few months for starters. With that in mind, would want to ideally find it online or local in the Seattle area in the next week or so.
Along those lines, if anyone has any leads on a good quality cd duplicator (again, with a budget in mind... $500?), that would be of interest. I've thought about putting one together out of spare parts to have something with maybe 3-4 burners going, but a standalone, portable unit would be preferrable.
Something like this Primera Bravo II at Newegg would be nice, given the good resolution and auto-feeding capability, but the $1,000 price tag might just be a bit much.
Epson R1800 for $500 or so? Looks like the quality would be great, but not sure if it would be overkill.
