Looking for power supply suggestions...

Hello all,

I just built a E6400 system and am looking to replace my old power supply looking for something between 520w and 600w any suggestions would like something on the quite side if possible.

What videocard do you have, and what videocard would you like to support with the same PSU in the future?

I have a geforce 7600GT and will be upgrading to a dx10 card this November

Are you going to want to be able to support SLi DX10? If your doing high-end SLi DX10, wait for the new PC P&C 1KW (hasn't come out yet). If midend SLi/Crossfire, then look at the TT Toughpower 750W. If your only going to do one card DX10, then look at the 80+ Enhance 500W ENP, at eWiz ($70).

Well if you're planning on only using one card I'd recommend the Antec SP-500. Its the PSU I'm currently using. Its given me no problems, has modular cabling and all the cables are done up well.

Yes I have. When I posted at 3 am this morning there wasn't much. Anyway dBTelos made a wonderful suggestion which I followed. Beautiful looking power supply hope it performs as well it looks . As I'm not an sli kind of guy this should fit my needs great thanks again dbtelos!
Just out of curiosity as I've already ordered the enhance 80+ does anyone know how good the new egg roswell supplys are?

Your welcome The Rosewill PSUs are very different, most in the 'dont even think about buying' category I forget the UL number, but one Rosewill is made by Wintech (Wintech makes Ultra supplies except the Xconnect), the Wintech Rosewill is ok, but if I recommend it to anybody, people are going to assume that all Rosewills are recommended. This is false.
