Basically I'm looking for a device that can link to my Blackberry, or any cell phone for that matter, via bluetooth so I can browse the internet and access/create/edit Google Documents. It doesn't have to powerful, just portable. I have an old HP Omnibook 800CT that would work if the batteries lasted more than 30min tops (and thats brand new!) and it had a USB port, or built-in, for Bluetooth. Know anybody that reconditions batteries? 😛
 
So you want a laptop to use wifi at hotspots and share it with your Blackberry? I thought Blackberry's supported wifi (not that I've looked into them that much). On another point, for internet you could get internet through a cell company. Alltel's internet rules, extremely fast in evdo areas.
 
No, I don't want it to have WiFi just Bluetooth. No, only one version of Blackberry has WiFi. I could care less if it was a full function laptop, wouldn't mind if it was Palm or Windows Mobile/Embedded for that matter. I even debating gutting my Omnibook 800CT and retro fitting it with a Nano-ITX for this purpose. However, there has to be some clamshell device out there now that is small enought to carry with me but useful enough for extended periods of time.
