Looking for pc repair tool kit

I've found best results just by getting my tools piecemeal. The typical tools in these "kits" are really low quality. The only useful thing out of these are the nutdrivers that fit the brass motherboard standoffs.

Start with a good #2 Philips screwdriver. I prefer one with a long 8-12" handle, will set you back maybe $3-6. Small diagonal cutters are good with cutting cable ties. Maybe get a kit with a few different types. Will cost $10-15. Then, a good (emphasized) set of precision screwdrivers. You'll probably only use one or two of the tiny Philips out of the set, but NOT ever stripping a tiny notebook screw is worth the $10 or so for the kit. The first #2 Philips should cover 85% of your computer tool needs, and the other stuff another 14%.
 
RadioShack has a brand called Kronos (I believe that is what it is called, my screwdriver kit is elsewhere right now) that makes really great precision screwdriver kits. It is one of the few ways to get small Torx bits (helpful) as well as square bits (not as helpful) and is overall nice quality.

Home Depot sells a good length screwdriver with interchangeable tips, cannot remember the brand (black handle, with red highlights) that includes a good selection of Torx bits. Specifically the T6 bit, something that is actually a lot harder to get at a store than you might think. Oh sure, you can find T5, and you can find T10, but anything in between is stupidly hard to find.

Between those two and my Gerber multi-tool, I seldom come across anything I can't handle. Anything that does arise can usually be handled by my Stanley interchangeable bit screwdriver (came with a wide selection of socket bits, one of which is perfect for mobo standoffs) Also, the handle will unlock and bend to for a roughly 60 degree angle so you can get more torque going.
