Hello, this computer will be mainly used for gaming, my brother and I are going with a budget of $2k. Will be mainly using this website: www.ncix.com good experience with their customer service, bought a lot of stuff from them, etc. Looking for opinions from other Canadian buyers.

Anyways...

Processor: Intel Core i7 920 ($329.98)
http://www.ncix.com/products/i...sku=34598&promoid=1066

Video Cards: XFX Radeon HD 4890 x2 ($439.98)
http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=37430

Motherboard: ASUS P6T SE X58 ($233.99)
http://www.ncix.com/products/i...sku=38342&promoid=1066

Hard Drive: Hitachi Deskstar P7K500 500GB ($49.99)
http://www.ncix.com/products/i...sku=27146&promoid=1066

Case: Antec Nine Hundred ($105.98)
http://www.ncix.com/products/i...sku=21123&promoid=1066

Ram: OCZ Gold OCZ3G1866LV6GK ($129.99)
http://www.ncix.com/products/i...sku=38328&promoid=1066

Power Supply: Seasonic M12D 850W ($219.99)
http://www.ncix.com/products/i...sku=35155&promoid=1066

Monitor: Acer H233H ($218.99)
http://www.ncix.com/products/i...sku=36090&promoid=1066

After Shipping, Insurance and pre-building the system (decided not to go with the hassle and just spend the $50 to have it sent done with testing + 1 year warranty).

Anyways all in all $1937.69

I don't need an OS/mouse/keyboard

Thanks for opinions.

hi,

A few reason why you should wait
- New processors by intel should be out soon
- New video cards should be out soon.

A few tips
VIDEO CARD : SLI or crossfire is A WASTE OF MONEY, unless you have a 30 inches screen.
RAM : I'd get Corsair instead
MONITOR: If you go with those HD monitor, maybe a BENQ would be better than Acer...
