This has been bothering me for a while. Do you guys remember Bob Ross?

Well, I remember (99% sure on this) Robin Williams doing a stand-up bit about him as a crazed Vietnam Vet, doing a painting and then going into a crazy flashback and painting VC and on and on. It was really hilarious, but I can't find the video anywhere, nor even info on which special/show it was from.

I've found some cursory mentions of the bit on some various sites, but not enough info to go on from there.

Anyone else remember this?

nanoo nanoo.

Hehe I don't think even ATOT powers are strong enough to find this. I would almost believe I hallucinated the whole thing if I hadn't found others on forums that also remember this.

Classic RW was so great. I still like the guy, but he hasn't done anything funny in quite a while.

I remember the skit, but I don't remember it as robin williams at all. I thought it was either Saturday Night Live or MTVs Half Hour Comedy Hour (which is where most great comedy of the period came from).

"Little charlie behind the tree...now we're gonna paint in a little agent orange, maybe a little COMMIE RED!!!"

YES! Okay, I could be totally off on Robin Williams (though it was him due to finding another link describing it as him), but can you tell me anything else you remember about it?

THANK YOU btw ;)

this is the link that made me think it was RW (have to scroll down a bit) :

I can't promise it wasn't Williams, it's just not how I remember it. I remember the guy starting off totally normal, and then as he painted in the jungle he started to flash back. Stuff about charlie behind the tree, agent orange (or napalm orange), commie red. By the end he was nearly frothing. It was an AWESOME routine.

He was a joke stealer back then. He has paid of many of folks for taking their jokes.

Hehe that's totally it! It's absolutely classic if you know what a mellow stand-up nice guy Bob Ross was. Also the way I remember it, the guy was actually painting in the routine (but again, that could be my memory playing tricks on me). I'd love to find the damned thing, but it seems to be pretty obscure. At least you've convinced me that I'm not totally insane.

I had the same issue finding Jiffy Jeff's Gym years ago. I had given up when a newer version of it by the same guy suddenly appeared on the net.

Robin Williams is a greatest stand up comedian - I like his fast talking :D. I remember it was aired on TV not sure when. I love his show.
