I have a 6340 from Cingular and I destroyed my screen. The phone still works but only for receiving calls or dialing but no way to dial stored numbers. I am looking for a replacement either the same model probably from Ebay, or I was wondering if there is any other better cheap phone I can use instead.
Two things I like about my phone is that a single charge lasts at least a full week with the phone always on and a few hours of talk time in a typical week. I also get great reception anywhere I can get a signal unlike some smaller and newer phones we have which hardly ever work.
Also I want to back up all my contacts from my old phone and move then to the new one. There is nokia software that works with either a phone cable or can use the IR capability of the phone. I don't think have a IR port in my computers that I know of, so I was wondering were and what kind of IR port I can buy that should work.
