Planning on getting 120hz monitor in future.
Gaming only...(Do not care about BF 4 or other free games)
Not planning on SLI or multiple monitors.
Looking for best bang for buck AND do not care if AMD or NVIDIA, but am concerned about heat and wattage consumed.:\

Any ideas or other improvements to this set up?

Thank you,

What games are you looking to play? Without knowing, I would suggest maybe a 280x/770 or 290. I wouldnt think the extra wattage will be significant in the long or short term, especially since the different GPU options are almost at $100 increments. I know you said you dont plan on multi-gpu, and there is nothing wrong with the 780 you linked, but at $520 for the 780 you can spend a little bit more and get 2 280x/770s. I guess it depends on which kind of games you will play. The $500 plus cards are in an odd spot. It doesnt make too much sense to get them, especially if you are looking for best bang for the buck.

After $400 you definitely move into diminishing returns territory.
