Looking for new video card

Ok I'm a noob to this stuff I have a Asus A7N8X MOTHERBOARD and I'm looking for a good video card that can atleast play F.E.AR. I use to have a "ATI All In Wonder 9800 Pro" video card that thing worked great but Its messing up on me anyways I have a AGP Pro/8x slot and I was wondering If I can put other AGP videocards that are not 8x.

Ok thats good to know because I didn't think so at 1st because the interface/pins didn't match but know that I know its good makes my search a bit easier thanks.

Your AGP bus goes 2x 4x and 8x being the fast one. Here is a list of Nvidia cards. I would suggest a 7900gs.

I think both the EVGA 7600GS and the EVGA 8600GS will work fine with you.
