Looking for New Fans, Suggestions?

Right now I am just using the stock fans (120mm) that came with my case (plus a few more of the same type I bought), CoolerMaster blah blah blahs that are supposed to move an amazing 44 CFM. I want to upgrade both my case fans and the fan on my Xigmatech S-1283.

I've done a bit of reading, and it appears Scyth Ultra Kaze, S-Flex, and Yate Loons are some of the better fans, but I haven't been able to find a definite answer as to which performs better in particular areas (sound, cfm, bang for buck, etc) compared to the others. If anybody can help me figure out how the higher end fans compare to each other, it would be great.

I'm also interested in possibly getting a fan controller, but I'm not sure how useful they are, for their price. I've also had trouble finding many reviews of fan controllers, not to mention recent ones. Any further input on this issue would be appreciated.

Awesome, thanks. Looks like I'll be going for some Yate Loons, at least once Petras gets them in stock. With 6-7 fans to upgrade, $10-15 a pop just isn't going work.

So a fan controller is worth it, then?

if you can get yate loons on sale like 3-4 bucks each would be ideal. cheap and reliable. and quiet too!

The Scythe Slipstream fans have lowered my CPU temp compared to the my previous Scythe S-Flex fans while lowering noise as well.

I've got the BLUE ORB from ThermalTake. I don't care much about thermal take, but this fan is really good.
