Okay, I already have an okay computer. It has...

P3 450
192MB SD-RAM
10 GB Hard-Drive
TNT2 32mb
PlexWriter 12/10/32A
Creative DVD-ROM 8x

What I'm basically looking for is a new video card (Preferably a GeForce 2 or 3) and an AMD Athlon (Preferably 1.4 GHz). I'm not sure where to really start. I know that I need a new MoBo also, but I'm not sure what I'm looking for. A little help?

If I were you I would want to get some DDR RAM and a mobo that supports it. So get a k7master or something. You dont really need anything other then a mobo for what you have already.

Here's what you'll need:

-A new motherboard. I recommend the Epox 8K7A, which uses DDR SDRAM.

-New RAM. You'll need x MB of PC2100. I recommend getting it from Crucial.com

-A new power supply. I recommend Antec'c. While you are at it, you might as well get a high quality case with good ventilation if you don't already have one. Take a look at the offerings from Antec. Specifically look at their Performance Series of Enclosures.

As for the processor, make sure you get the version with the 266 MHz FSB. Good luck.

Video card? Now is a good time to get a Geforce 2 GTS. 32mb models (only about 3 frames slower than 64mb models at 1600x1200) sell for around $110 right now. Check out newegg.com. I think they have an MSI Starforce 815 (Geforce 2 GTS) for around that price. Be sure to avoid Geforce 2 MX because GTS's are about twice as good (and only a bit more: $110. What else can you ask for?)

If you have the cash, you can also think about a Geforce 3
