Looking for new cheaper Boost Mobile cell phone....

My older Motorola Moto G (4.5 inch screen)
I think it's a 2014 model.. is giving me trouble.

It's struggling to charge at all.

Looking for a newer phone about the same size.I'd accept up to a 5,maybe 5.5 inch screen.

I'm used to Android phones,and I'm on Boost Mobile.

The only problem is,new phones,even the so-called "budget" ones,are expensive now.

(Sorta spoiled,as I got my 2014 phone in 2015 for $43 shipped-usually $130 new- from Amazon.)

I like my J7 Perx a lot, but it's $150. Battery life's phenomenal, but the camera's meh. Otherwise, everything works as expected.

I would go with the Motorola G6.

The reason I decied on the Samsung vs something like the G6,is price.

The Samsung was $115 shipped,vs the G6 at $190 and up.

I /think/ your linked phone is the one I got my mother. I was impressed with the little bit of time I played with it, but personally, I'd spend the extra ~$30 for the Perx to get the bigger battery.

It could be due to a bad usb port or failing battery.

Got my new Samsung Galaxy J2.I haven't gotten it activated,as I had to switch to a different cellular provider who supported it.

(The new provider I'll be with is Consumer Cellular .)
