Looking for Network search software

I work with many different static ip networks at many different locations. I am looking for sofware, (shareware if possible ) that will search a network scheme and give me a graphical picture of who is on the network and which ip's are in use.

 
I currently own VISIO which will do a fine job if I want to manually generate a drawing and type in IP addresses. I am looking for software that would search the network and give me a detailed graphical output of the PC's on the network by IP Address.

What version? Because I recall a similar thread and it was concluded that one of the newer versions (probably 2002) does do just what you are looking for.

I maybe wrong though...
