looking for multimedia hard drive 2 TB/USB3

Hi,

apologies in advance if this is not the right esction but couldnt find a more precise one dedicated to multimedia hard drives.
It's actually amazing how few resources/benchs/reviews exist on this category of products.
Anyway here is my problem : i want to be able to play on my tv all my DVD rips / pictures galleries and apparently the best solution for that is to get a multimedia hard drive.
I want one that is supporting USB 3 so that transfer rates are ok (transfer 2 TB with USB 2 = 40 hours >>> not an option) and that has a capacity of 2 TB min.

Would greatly appreciate any link to reviews or feedback from current users, or any advice pointing toward a specific product...

The requirements for a "multimedia" hard drive are the same as for any fast hard drive. There's nothing special about them. Here is a link to one of them that looks good:
