I currently have a full-sized P67 motherboard and tower-case.
I'm looking to downsize the case to a micro-atx size.

Features I want:
a) micro-atx sized
b) USB 3.0 (headers and/or on the back)
c) ability to keep my moderate oc ( 4.2ghz).

So, I don't really need a lot of features - I presume the 1155 socket is dead-ended at this point, so I couldn't expect the new motherboard to support IB or Haswell (?)

Ideally, a "value" proposition is what I'm after but I'm open to any suggestion.

Sandy Bridge (your 2500K) and Ivy Bridge are both socket 1155. If you want a USB3.0 header, just look at a Z77 board.
