Looking for memory upgrade suggestions

I currently have an AMD Phenom II 955 BE running on an ASUS M4A79T Deluxe with (loling expected) 2 GB of OCZ Platinum DDR3 10666, an EVGA GTX 260 Core-216 Superclocked Edition and a WD Raptor 300.

Suffice it to say that since I have upgraded to Windows 7 64-bit I have been thoroughly disappointed with my system's performance. I have also noticed a number of system hangs when restarting the computer, installing updates and on several occasions while installing software since the upgrade to the OS. I experienced none of these problems when I was running Windows XP Professional x64 Edition and never came close to utilizing the 2 GB of memory before now.

I began investigating settings on the system in more detail as a result and found a number of items that concern me. First off, according to CPU-Z, my DDR3 10666 (which OCZ rates at 1333MHz) is actually running at 1066MHz, the timings (OCZ claims 7-7-7-20) are at 9-9-9-20 and the voltage (OCZ recommends 1.8V) is at 1.5V. I attempted to manually set the memory speed, timings and voltage in the BIOS to OCZ's claimed specifications and the system would not boot.

Windows 7 lists my overall experience index at 5.5 because of the memory score so coupled with the other issues described above, I believe it is finally time for an upgrade. Having noticed that OCZ seems to have taken a sharp decline in quality as of late, I am reluctant to put any more of their memory into the system. Can anyone recommend any 4 GB dual-channel (2x2 GB) kits that I should investigate further? I see no reason why this platform shouldn't last me a while longer and even running Windows 7 64-bit I do not foresee needing more than the 4 GB of memory for the programs and games that I run.

Thanks in advance,
