Hi all, I need electric meat chopper, one that has a cup with blade on the bottom of it, and I put meat there, push a button and watch it turn into sausage, creamy stuff.

by Medium I mean I want to fit couple pounds of meat at once.

Can anyone please find good models/good bang for the buck?

Thanks!

(10 lbs is not bulk though)

It usually has round opening, kind of like a tea cup shape.

Not sure how big an alternator is, though.

Who is this for?
I originally got this because Alton Brown recommended it, and I have no regrets about the purchase. It allows the user greater control over the type and quality of meat you will be serving. If you are having guests over and you want to impress them then buy some nice steaks and grind them. And by buying leaner cuts of meat you can control the amount of fat in your ground beef dishes.

I am really surprised a real answer came up so quickly, I was expecting pages of "zmg bulk beef".

zmg bulk beef is fine.

Folks, I already have food processor like in FoBoT's psot. Fobot's thing has a hole in which I feed meat, but I need a device that has a CUP with a blade on bottom! You put a clear lid on that cup, hit the button, blade goes vroooom!

I'll take a pic of what I need when I get home.

well, if you need to grind BULK beef, i think you need an industrial model

http://www.pleasanthillgrain.c...d.html#meatgrinderpage

Torrey M32-5 Meat Grinder:

Horsepower: 5 hp
Current: 220 volts, 60 Hz (14.0 amps @ 220v) 3-phase (Read below about 3-phase power)
Grinding Rate: 64 lb./minute 1st grind (3/8" plate), 31 lb./min 2nd grind (1/8" plate)

that should grind bulk beef

Torrey M32-5 meat grinder: Very high capacity machines with 64 lbs/minute grinding rate through 3/8" plate. Easy, tool-free disassembly for fast cleanup.

Nope, not BULK, probably I need to grind maybe 5 lbs, which is NOT bulk.

I say BULK BEEF so that I get more people to notice and share their precious knowledge of beef, grinders, alternators, and so on.

For example thing I want can be used to grind liver into cream.

So, you need a food processor. Not a small one, and not a large industrial one. But one about the size of a dog's head?

Whatever you do, don't skimp on it. Cheap food processors aren't worth the cheap plastic they are made from.

cuisinart. it's not a grinder, it's a food processor.

Thanks! Cusinart is the type of thing I need. Gonna have to ask "client" if 14 cups is too much or alright, and it's a little pricey...but you get what you pay for, I learned that.

As for dog head/liver, dogs are of different sizes.

FoBoT, that tiny food chopper might be fine, I got to ask the client =)
