I've had thsi headache for days now. I went to the emergancy room once, but they said it was ok and the pumped me full of pain killers. Now I still have the headache and i have developed a stuffy nose and sore throat. I wanto to make sure that this si serious enough to back to the emergancy room and possibly get a CT done. I am looking for this mediacal website that has flowcharts to self diagnose myself. I went to that site before, but i keep forgetting the name. You guys know of any site.....?

Flu?

Actually, that sounds like a classic sinus infection. Can be cured with meds in a bout a week if that's the case. Change of seasons always used to bring them on with me.

And as previously mentioned, webmd.com

 
webmd is not teh site. Teh site i am talking about has a flowchart.

I dont think is is the flu. It origally was a sex headache (see previous threads). I felt great yesterday morning, but the headache came back at night, but this time with a sore throat and stuffy nose.


Symptoms:
stuffy nose
headache (it is on teh left side from base to top of head)
sore throat
stiff neck.
 
sex headache? link to pvs thread?

HA with stiff neck can be many things, including the flu, or meningitis.

and stop saying "teh"

Well, if you got it from sex it's probably from your blood vessels opening up for increased blood flow. Try drinking some coffee or take some Vivarin (caffeine pills), that should do the trick. Excedrin is good too since it has caffeine (caffeine constricts the blood vessels in the brain area).
 
So it's a safe bet you won't be having any more sex?


Seriously though, if you have insurance, go back to the ER, or better yet, if you have a family/private MD, make an appointment with them.

Hell no!!!!!

Man, it's getting worse. I tried the caffine thing and it did not work. I am gonna go to the ER right after work.....I am starting to feel all dizzy and woozy🙁 I am really not looking forward to the 5 hour wait though.......
