I've searched the forums here, but no one ever mentions how heavy a lot of the heatsinks are. I don't want a heavy heatsink to break off the plastic clip on the CPU socket, or to crush the core. I plan to overclock, of course.

What is a good HSF that is not too big, lightweight, and has a good retaining clip?
Where can I find good HSF's online?

Most of the heatsinks are not too heavy, the heaviest ones are copper, and still only a couple of them are heavy. The Taisol CGK760092 is a nice HSF, with a great clip design. It can be found a lot of places, like www.kdcomputers.com

I second the Taisol CGK760092. You can get it here for $35.99. You can add $9.00 for the Delta (also from their site) and you'd have a sweet HSF. Keep us updated:)

it's as much the clip design as it is the weight of the hs that causes the lugs on the mb to break off.

I personally like the clip on the OCZ gladiator. and anyone on these boards that has used this hs can tell you that it is a very good hs. also as far as copper goes, it's the lightest of the all copper hs. it weighs in i believe at 330 grams, just above amd's recommendation.

From personal experience I have both this the Gladiator and the WBK and there really isn't much difference in weight between the two.

just an option.

Why the hell is everyone over the TaiSol CGK7600092?! for $35 i would much rather get a Swiftech MC370 or a Millenium Glaciator!!
