Looking for Laptop suggestions

Ausm

Lifer
I want to get a latop so I can go over to my friends house and Play World of Warcraft without having to drag my home PC over. I have been looking for some deals on Ebay but I am not sure how much power I will need to run this game.

Oh and what brand of Laptop would you suggest right now I have been looking at Dells and IBM's.

TIA,

Ausm

How much battery life do you want?
How big of a screen?

Here are some suggestions based on what WOW needs. Good video memory and Lot of RAM!

ABS Mayhem G3 S45, Athlon 64 3400+, 15.4", ATI Mobility RADEON 9700
1,299.00

This would handle wow fine. Nice amd processor so it will be fast. My friend has one like this and plays wow on it.

Acer AS5672WLMi- XP Home Intel Core Duo 15.4" Wide XGA ATI Mobility RADEON X1400 NoteBook - Retail
$1,189.00

This has a lot of new technologies and will be better on battery life.

ABS G3 Eclipse A60 AMD Turion 64 15.4" Wide XGA ATI Mobility RADEON X700 NoteBook - Retail
1,479.00

Another nice ABS notebook and this one will pry have another hour of battery life because of the Turion processor.

ABS MAYHEM G4 REVOLUTION A50 Pentium M 760(2.0GHz) 15.4" Wide XGA 1GB 80GB DVD±R/RW nVIDIA GeForce Go 6600 NoteBook - Retail
$1,749.00

Will pry handle almost any game.

Really depends on money that is available. Also ABS is a good laptop gaming manufacturer.

Hope I helped out. I dont like dell that much I beleive their quality sucks. Also I would reccomend an extended warrenty on a laptop. Might want to check ABS's website.
