Anyone that has ever dealt with the W8500 case knows what a bitc# it is to move it around......and my dumb butt actually takes it to LAN parties. So after hurting my back getting it out of my car one day, I've decided to build a nice small LAN system. What cases are out there that give decent cooling, are very portible, but can handle a full ATX mobo (like the KT7-RAID), and don't cost an arm and a leg?

I use the Inwin s500 as my LAN rig (well needs some more components since I parted a few things out)... its under 20lbs, mod friendly as well. It fits the K7T pro2-a and around $50. I know my friends use the Avance Technologies 8B04 case... not great but light, small and should fit most mainboards out there (it fits a BE6-2). It got very little room though and modding it is a pain. They are also hard to find... bought them a computer show.

Check out the Enlight 7101 and the Fong Kai 604. Directron.com carries these and the ElanVital T-5A.

The PaloAlto PA-600 might also work, a2zcomp.com has them. This looks like a really deluxe item, more info at paloaltoproducts.com.

I have no experience with any of these, but I do have an interest in the smaller stuff, it's the future.
