Basically, my home keyboard is a PS/2 keyboard that has a power button and I like this feature, even though it will nto power on, just off from the keyboard. At work I have a Dell keyboard that has a volume knob and some other hotkeys, and the keyboard doesnt take up too much extra space. It even has a calculator hotkey, but it does not have a power on/off hotkey..

So my question is: Is there a USB keyboard out there that has volume and power on/off hotkeys? I can't seem to find any.

I don't know if there are any with a Power button, but there are some with a Sleep button. Many of the Microsoft keyboards have volume controls (not necessarily of the knob variety though) and Sleep buttons.

I'm hoping to be able to turn on the PC from the keyboard. I have a gigabyte ex-38 mobo, and I cant get it to turn on from USB devices anyway (even by enabling the keyboard and mouse double click features from the BIOS). It's not going to be the end of the world if I cant, but just checking around.. My current keyboard is pretty worn out and i hate the small backspace key..

USB stuff has to be connected to standby power for it to work when the system is powered down. The BIOS on full featured mobos can set power on from keyboard (and various other events) and you look in the mobo manual to find the jumper(s) that connect USB to the 5V standby line (a stronger 5V standby line on your PSU may be necessary to use this and have it work reliably). The mobos packed with the big box pushers' units may be crippled in that regard.
