I have seen these readers on HP computers and a few eMachines. In an effort to cut down on wires, I would like to install one of these in an open 5.25" bay and run it from a PCI slot. Also, I would like to have one that also includes a firewire port.
Some of these I have seen want you to run wires to rear mounted USB ports or Firewire ports. I don't want that. I want a kit that has its own PCI board and sets up the various card ports as drives and gets its information/power exchange from the PCI via the MB.
Let me know of any solutions to this.
