Man,

There is so much to learn about motherboards and chipsets and CPUs and overclocking and heatsinks and ....

I guess you can start by reading AnandTech, also go to FiringSquad and Tom's Hardware. If you want to know some extreme stuff, go to HardOCP.

There are a lot more good sites out there (sorry if I left out your site)

Maybe you can focus first on chipsets first (BX, i815 series, KT133, also read the history of i810/i820)

Then focus on the 2 best (IMHO) Motherboard makers ABIT and ASUS.

Motherboards are servents of the CPU (or is it the other way?), so you must know your CPUs...know the difference in CPUs, know which particular ones where legedary in terms of overclocking (Celeron 300A, 366, P3-550, Duron600-700....etc)

The knowledge cannot be grasped in just a matter of days (or nights) but a build up of experience and time. (and also trial and error with many reboots when doing BIOS tweakings)

good luck...may the force be with you!

You can find a listing of reviews of Motherboards from the link on the Anandtech home page. Its the best!
