Looking for High-capacity Music Player

So the topic says it all. I need something that plays music and can store a lot of it.

I currently have a 30gb zune and I hate deleting songs just to put new ones on. My main music collection is around 60gb. I also have my songs that I record and like to listen to before their final mixes for ideas and those tend to take up quite a bit of space as well. So, 80gb of storage is the minimum that I require.

Most important point to me would be audio quality. I don't care about the player being able to play videos, radio, wi-fi, etc. I just want a high-capacity music player with great audio quality. Price range is flexible.

Currently, my only options seem to be the new Zune 80 and the Ipod Classic 80/160. Are there any other lesser known players that might offer better audio quality?

Thanks for any suggestions you may have!

After a bit of research, the Ipod Classic is out. Apparently its sound quality is below average.

The zune 80 is looking like my only option now. Or I could attempt to upgrade the hard drive in my 30gb zune. That might be worth it.

I've had my Zune 80GB for a month or so now, coming from a Toshiba Gigabeat S60, and I love it. I find the sound quality to be quite good and the software works well. If it was crushed in some rort of freak accident I would not hesitate to go out and buy another one right away. Great player.

Besides, if you are already used to the Zune and like it, may as well stick with it.

Please keep us updated if you plan on doing a hard drive upgrade instead. That sounds like it could be useful.

I like my Zune 80. Former was a Rio Karma that has been passed on to my GF.

I think the Zune 80 is your best bet. The Archos 605 WiFi is a great player, but since you say you don't care about wifi/videos, then it probably won't interest you.

If you're interested in used, 5G iPods have a much better sound chip than the current models. I've confirmed this with employees at Apple stores.
