Looking for help.

I have an Abit KA7-100, AMD Athlon slotA 600MHz, Micron PC133
128Mb X 3, IBM 30.7 7200 ATA 100, GeForce2 GTS DDR 32Mb X-Gamer
soundcard, and three cooling fans plus the triple fan on the CPU.
I,m not overclocking the system. But some days it runs fine other
days it locks up. And I have Windows 98 the first one. So body
told me that it's an IRQ problem. But they don't tell me how to
fix it.

Device Manager-> system devices-> PCI bus-> IRQ steering. Only have a check by get IRQ using MS specifications.

Thanks for the help. But it didn't work. I hate to think about reformating.
So if I was to get a new CPU & Mobo. What would be the best one. ASUS,
AOpen, DFI, FIC or Gigabyte? And A Slot OR Socket A Tbird? But I'll still
use the same ram hard video and sound.

Sounds more like a driver conflict to me.........
