Radeon 9500 pro at $177 newegg (sapphire) is best in terms of benches, though I'm still a little wary of ATI's drivers.

Other than that, some hot deal on a ti 4600 ?

Best might be to hold on and keep saving & waiting for price drops on better cards. The fan is the only part of the gf3 that will "wear out" and a $10 replacement would fix that. Getting something like a fx 5200 isn't really an upgrade from what you have now unless it's a ti200 running at stock speed.

Radeon 9700 non pro if you can find it for what you can afford. Or 9500 pro . And down the road the Radeon 9900 (R400?).

Definitely Sapphire 9500 Pro OEM. THat thang is easily overclokable, awesome performance, and DX9 support.
