Hello all, I am trying to hook up a laptop with an Ati Radeon Mobility X2300 gpu to a mid-2000's DLP rear projection HDTV. The laptop's output has a 15-pin vga d-sub. The tv supports inputs from DVI-A, Component, composite, and Svideo. Right now I have a VGA to Component RGB adapter hooked up. I'm unable to get a display on the screen. My VGA to DVI adapter doesnt work, because the adapter is one of the many forms of DVI that happens to be incompatible with the input on the rear of the HDTV. I'm at my wits end here. I've read that I should use smaller resolutions at 60hz, or either need a TV that supports both RGB or Y, Cr/Pr, Cb/Pb input or a video card that can render all color modes.... OR a converter box.

Any input?
