Looking for HD Enclosure 3.5 IDE

Hello,

I'd noticed some HD Enclosure includes a fan but are they really necessary? I'm tempted to purchase this Text; but before I do, are there better enclosures you guys recommend? I know there're reviews on the site, but I'd like some more opinions. Thanks in advance for your help.

I got for cooling, aesthetics and size.

I like This Vantec one u can get an ESATA version. I think it's super sexy, has decent cooling and is pretty small. Can't beat the price either for the quality of it.

I just picked up one of those AMS' you linked last week. Works great, installation was as simple as slapping in the hdd (2 screws to remove the tray) and then plugging in the power and usb cables; no drivers needed in either XP or Vista. Can't give any comparisons since I've never had an external enclosure before, but I'm very pleased with the AMS Venus.
