Looking for good opera/chorus + orchestra combos...

I bet most of you hate it...

I'm talking the likes of Puccini (too many to name), Bizet (carmen obviously) , Sibelius (karelia is awesome) and such...stuff were it gets nitty and gritty and the orchestra is going at it just as hard as the tenors/ladies are going at it

but I am looking for specific pieces...perhaps by non-mainstream composers. Perhaps some hidden gems that you know of.

Starting with some Berlioz now...

can you send me a couple, i always wanted to explore opera. im not too familiar with classical music, only the real big ones, mozart beethoven, chopin

Any opera is fine with me. I'm not too familiar with it so i dont know what i like but I've heard Carima Burana or atleast the most popular section, Mozart's requiem and some other one i dont remember.

ANd it doesn't even need to be opera with a set libretto, if you have good orchestral pieces with vocals (kind of like phantom menace) i'd also like to sample that as well

I put some Sibelius stuff up in the past...it will take time to upload though....it is mostly lossless...

Anyone know the name of the popular opera that is partly featured in that new Jumpman shoe commercial? (the one where that dude steals the ball and shoots it and everyone is like "OH NOES! WE ARE TEH PWNED!!"??

Additionally, I'll take a link to that opera your uploading as well 😀

I'm not much of an opera fan, but I do like Mozart's "The Magic Flute" and Gluck's "Iphigénie en Tauride".
