Looking for good case (P35-DS3L motherboard)

Hello, folks.

I am putting together a new computer centered around a P35-DS3L motherboard. What cases would you recommend for my consideration? My basic concerns are (1) reasonable price, (2) basic cooling [I am not a hardcore system-maximizing overclock addict), and (3) less than horrid appearance.

I am leaning toward the Antec Solo right now, based on a user's recommendation.

Thanks!

CM 690 for around the same price,

Rosewill 56XX series.

Most cooler master cases.

To BA's list, I'd add the Rosewill R6X case, R6A series and the similar units under Compucase. The Lancool/Lian Li K7 or K10 if your budget stretches that far and as long as you can keep your case upright. ;) Or the Evercase 4502 - hard to find.

I have 5 systems here with DS3L's in these Coolermaster Centurion 534 cases...they worked out extremely well together, zero complaints. Phenomenal deal for the $$.

The fans that come with the Centurion 534 are dead silent. In fact when I assembled my first system over Christmas break and powered it on I thought I had a dead mobo or something because it was silent like a laptop. Then I saw the post screen and realized just how quiet they were.

Keeps more than enough air flow going to. Mine are populated with Q6600 at 3.3GHz under Tuniq Tower 120 and my fully-loaded temps are ~60C.

I don't own one myself yet, but the Antec Solo is an excellent case according to quite a lot of people. I'm planning to buy either a Solo or a P182. If the Solo fits your budget and taste, you should definitely get it. Personally I like the look of the P182 more, but it's much bigger than what I need.

I believe JosephB went with the Solo indeed. It's a good case.

I prefer the 532 chassis just slightly, especialy in it's incarntion as the iStarUSA S9.
