Looking for Good and Sleek High-Performance Case

Hey all, I've recently come into possession of a few computer components from a family member, and I'd like to work them into a new PC. (they're in a current build, but there's a few good parts mixed in with some much cheaper parts).

The good parts I want to keep are really focused on the MB and CPU - There's a ASUS P6X58-E PRO, with a Core i7-950 on it, and a Cooler Master V8 mounted on top of that. There's also a 750W power supply (I believe Sea Sonic, but not certain on that).

I more or less know what I want with memory and HDD. I'm also seriously looking at the GIGABYTE GV-N570OC-13I Rev2.0 (GTX 570-based) for a video card.

The remaining question is the case. I'm pretty picky about what I want - want something with clean styling, ideally 3 (or at least 2) 5.25 bays, and an external 3.5 bay. Lame as it is, I really like my Rosewill USB hub / card reader - it's nice to have a lot of front USB 2.0 ports. Also important is to have two USB 3.0 ports on the front - whereas I don't care or even really want USB 2.0 ports on the front, beyond the cardreader USB hub I'll be putting in. And I'd like the USB 3.0 ports to go into the header on the MB, not a back port.

And I don't want something that looks blocky or excessively gamer-y or gimmicky. I won't want front doors or anything like that. I want a clean basic chassis that will keep everything inside cool.

The one model I've seen that has all this is the Rosewill Challenger (USB 3 model) - it looks a bit gamer-y but not excessively so. One concern is that compared to better cases it's somewhat flimsily made, using thinner metal, cheaper fans, etc. But more expensive models all have design features that tick me off, it seems, be it the baffles on the side (Corsair), ports/power on top (Lian-Li), etc.

So, suggestions welcome for a straightforward and well-built case. Although there are powerful components that run decently hot in there, I'm not looking to overclock.

A friend pointed out this thread is kind of rambling...I suppose my question really should be - how would the Rosewill Challenger handle the build I'm proposing, and do people have a better suggestion?

I just bought a Corsair 800D that is a pretty simple design with front panel access but I really like the Fractal Design cases. They aren't too expensive, very minimalistic yet effective.

I was considering the Corsair 650D actually - which was on sale at Newegg, although now it seems to be out of stock there. I really liked the HDD docking station on top. I read a review that it didn't keep things particularly cool, though.

I was looking at the Fractal Design Arc Midi, but I kind of wanted one more 5.25 bay (two optical+card reader). Also, as with the Lian-Li cases, I don't like ports and buttons being on top.

Corsair cases are nice. Personally though, I am more a fan of Silverstone and Lian Li. The FT02 is an amazing, albeit pricey, case. Same with the Lian Li's generally (V1020 is another nice one).

Fractal Designs are nice for cheaper stuff and give you similar design as Corsair/Lian Li, but not quite as good materials/build quality IMHO.
