Greetings. I know I?m new here, but I?ve lurked for a while. I assure you that I?m not a spammer or trying to sell you anything. I?m simply looking for feedback on an idea I had.
The idea is basically this: a way for IT people to troubleshoot common issues instead of searching for an answer via forums/google/etc. The content would be created and updated by the community, similar to what Wikipedia does. The entire system is like an interactive flowchart.
Since describing an idea in words can be painful, I built a fully functional website to demonstrate the idea. The URL is http://lefebure.info. Since I?m pretty much the only one to put information in thus far, the content is limited. The Exchange server section is the deepest section, so that would be a good place to start to see how the system works.
So I come to the anandtech community since I think that this is a group of people who would be interested in using a system like this, assuming it had enough content to be useful. What I?m looking for are your thoughts on how useful you think it is? Is it simple enough to use?
Thanks,
Lance
