Looking for External USB Enclosure

I'm looking to get an external enclosure to make a 3.5" IDE hard drive into a USB external drive. It needs to support both USB 2.0 and 1.1. Any recommendations? Thanks.

The Byteccs and AMS enclosures always seem to get good reviews at Newegg, but I've not used them personally. When it comes to enclosures, you really can't go wrong if you pick those that have a lot of high reviews from Newegg.

I've been using an ADS enclosure for about a year that I picked up cheap from CC with no problems.

All of the enclosures that support USB Hi-Speed are backward compatible so no worries there...Bytecs com in a few flavors chip wise but ADS does rock so if you find them reasonably price do so as they are made of hi quality...I also use Mapower and Macally which are a few bucks more but made rugged and sturdy...another thing to consider is to have them with additional Firewire400 support as it is faster...even I have switched to Firewire800 which moves as fast as PATA HD's when running that protocol
