I'm hoping to get some recommendations (or a link to a review site, haven't found any good ones yet) to find a free or inexpensive email provider.
I've been using hotmail for a long time as my general/personal email account, but recently I've gotten more and more annoyed by the ads, the bloating interface, speed and reliabilities issues, etc.
I'm looking for a service that will keep messages on the server, has a good, full-featured web interface (being able to use a standalone client is a plus), if it's free keeps ads to a manageable level, and has a respectable sounding domain name. Any pointers? There are so many out there...
