Im looking for a dvd player for my home theater center that will do all dvd recorder formats. Can you guys please recommend a few to me sub 200 dollar mark. Thanks alot!!!

Also, what is the different modes vr and video versus playback?

The LiteOn player has a big following and plays just about everything you can throw at it (even DivX!), sans SACD/DVD-A.

It upconverts to 720/1080 as well making it a pretty formidable player in terms of picture quality. I think you might be able to find it for about $200.

Pioneer just came out with a pretty good <$200 universal player, the DV-563A. It's at Circuit City for $179 and plays just about everything including SACD and DVD-A, plus it has good PQ to boot.

In regards to your 2nd question, it makes absolutely no sense. Try rephrasing it in English then I might be able to answer it. ^_____^

DV-563A is an excellent choice, I'm using one now (upgraded from a Panasonic RP62). DVD-A/SACD were the selling points for me.

DSD = Yummy

I heard the Lite-On one has some problems. I'd wait a bit longer to pick up the ones that play from your computer.

That said, get one that can be region-unlocked.
