Looking for distro for p2

got an old p2 with 256 ram no graphics and crappy hard drive
was thinking of running an older dapper 6.06 ubuntu
but does anyone have any better ideas prob somthing
with xfce by default,

I have not yet learned how to install xfce so if a distro
had it as default, it would be nice
