Hello all. I'm requesting recommendations for a 15" desktop laptop. Brief background: This year I have significantly pulled back on time spent gaming. I haven't played a AAA title in 2 years and when I do play it's Hearthstone, casual MOBAs, or Humble Bundle games. I want to ditch my SFF desktop gaming PC and peripherals in exchange for a 15" laptop that sits at home and only moves occasionally. When I'm out and about I take a 13" Haswell Chromebook with me and that's good enough for the library or coffee shop.

Here's the critical criteria:
- Under $300
- Used laptop from Ebay or Amazon
- 15" HD panel
- Comfortable keyboard
- Dual core processor
- A make/model laptop that doesn't have quality control issues. I want to avoid all Acer and cheap AMD machines. So pretty much a non-Acer Intel machine. Also, I prefer Dell over HP and am willing to pay more for Dell.

Here's where I can compromise:
-GPU: I would like a GPU that can run MOBAs and old 3D games at 35+ FPS average. I'm not sure if I should look at newer 600 series Nvidia discrete graphics, older 200 series Alienware bruisers, or possibly an iGPU. It's kind of gray area for me so I'm open to ideas.
-Build materials: I like metal better but I can settle for plastic. This laptop won't be moving much, and since I handle my PCs gently I don't need it all that rugged.

Thanks in advance! :)

What city/state are you in?

Do you have a preference for Windows 7 or 8.x?

Yeah, this is kind of a small town and CL is generally more expensive. But thanks for the suggestion.
