Looking for decent dental insurance

My gf has a job, but the job offers no type of benefits right now. She needs to have some dental work done, and I was wondering if anybody could recommend some fairly good dental insurance that is pretty cheap.

It doesn't exist, and it exists even less for someone who already needs work 🙂

There are "discount plans" that give you a discount on work at a few dentists (usually second-tier ones).

There are somewhat affordable plans that let you go to specific clinics but not to most private practices, but for her first six months to a year probably only exams and cleanings would be covered.

The medical/dental schools in your area usually offer heavily discounted work done by people still learning to be dentists (yikes!)

Yeah, they do basic stuff like cleaning and small cavities, but she needs her wisdom teeth pulled and a root canal
