Looking for cool Windows XP Themes

man I really have my desktop all crazed out i went nutz for like 2 days did everything the right way, you know without any programs to do all the work for you ! that site he just recommended had some good stuff on it!

jfall, really nice! I like that transparent skin, exactly what im looking for!

Dreadogg ..hehe after i installed XP i've been tweaking, playing with this for a day already now and i love it, transparant skin is what i will try out next.

The skin itself on my theme isn't transparent.. I modified it a bit.. to do transparancy I used a program called GlassXP.. you should check it out, it will allow you to set trancparency of any window.

I personally do not like tranceparancy it gets old really fast! the best is changing the login screen and the boot screen that really looks cool!

Another place that has some good ones is WinCustomize ,the XP ones are pretty good.

jfall, i've just downloaded glass2k (it shoulb be the same as glassxp right?) thank ya.

Dreadogg, i will make my own skins soon but i guess you'r right (haven't been there yet)anyway its cool to just be able to change theme/skin when one gets tyred of the old look!

Ok i have tweaked the OS as i want it, now what files should i back up in the event that i would need to do a clean reinstall some time in the future. I mean so that all the settings, layout, dektop, folder preference are exactly the same. Would it be enough to backup the registery and import it after a reinstall?


Ps. i dont need to make a complete backup of all the progs and evrything just the way winXp is configured. Ds.
