Looking for computer selling site

Hi, I am looking for a good site that sells computers (allows you to customize) and I am only buying the computer part. I already have all the other accesories needed. As much as I would like to build my own and know of all the savings and benefits it's just on going to work in my current situation. Thanks for any sites offered for good priced computers.

Monarch is a pretty good one. I haven't used it myself, but I've read good things.

Yeah same here, plus you get another option: the Hornet SFF PC if you want a small one.

Thanks so far, I just took a look at monarchs and was overwhemled by all the options, I'm not up to speed as of late as to all the good buys and good combinations. If you have any recommedations for 700-1200 price range it would be great. More sites are welcomed as well.

I just went to monarch and quickly put together a system to see what the prices were like...

I tried a Furia system and made it with
Super Lanboy case
480watt enermax
DFI lanparty
A64 3000+ retail
1 gig ocz
160gig seagate
nec 3520
x800xl

came to $1021 before other costs.

(just a starting suggestion for you)

those are good parts. with those parts, you might as well build it yourself its really not that hard

Thanks once again for the info everyone, yes it would be my first time but the issue is I need it very fast so I dont have time at the moment to build. A question is what link did you use to build it, there are many furia links and I cant find the lan-boy stuff.

Also the x800xl looks nice it seems to be very pricey, is there any other cheaper alternative or is it worth the extra dollars?

Monarch takes like 2 weeks i think unless you request hot rush for extra money.

as for the vid card, the 800xl is a powerful card at a okay price. the best for most pc builders that want performance at a nice price is the 6600gt, which is about 160.

Yeah, if you need it fast, building it yourself from parts from someplace with free 2 day shipping (like zip zoom fly) or even newegg is pretty quick.... would be the option to have a system together the fastest.

I guess the alternative is to go to an electronics store and pick out something pre-built.

Though you may be joking about dell, I may end up getting from them possibly. My father who is buying doesn't know very much about computers and feels condifent buying from a major company like dell and may even decide that he wants the best money can buy. He is fickle with his decisions. On that note does any one have any info about the quality of the 256 MB RADEON X850 XT PE and if I should get 1gb or 2gb of ram. He wants the computer to last 5yrs+ power wise.

That has a comparison of most of the card you should be looking at.
