Looking for comments on Kingston RAM

Their prices look good. I had some in a laptop several years ago, but it was DOA. Even so, I've read almost nothing + or - about that brand in the forums.

Kingston is dependable and cheap. I have them in 2 out of my 3 systems, in particular their PC2100 ValueRAM. They don't make their own memory chips, but buy from other chip manufacturers like Winbond, Infineon and Nanya. If you aren't into extreme overclocking these should do just fine. I have mine overclocked and they aren't complaining either. 🙂

I'm thinking about getting some for a friend's system. He won't be overclocking at all so the Kingston looks good. I don't need to get really expensive stuff.

If he doesn't overclock, the Kingston ValueRAM series are a great buy. It'll even take light to medium overclocking duties from my experience.
