I am just looking for a PC to stream music to my headphone system which consists of a USB DAC and amp. I would also like it to be very quiet because it is going to be sitting on my nightstand.
 
i just bought a used asus eeepc 1005HAB on ebay for $160 shipped. i didnt think netbooks were all the special until i tried one... this little thing kicks ass. im seriously thinking about dumping my tx2z tablet now, i just dont need a full powered laptop (this netop is almost as easy to carry around as my phone). this still plays youtube videos, reads forums with ease and runs office 2010 without a hitch. thats all i need (oh, and internet streaming, its perfect for that!)
