Looking for cheap Duron motherboard that OCs well

I'm looking to upgrade an old P2/300 system at minimal cost. The goal is a speedier
system for everyday use. It's not a gaming machine or anything that is overly
performance oriented. I do however want more power than the existing P2 is
delivering so that if the need for performanec is there, it can handle most
tasks relatively well.

An overclocked 600 Mhz Duron looks like the right processor to get - OCs well
and low cost. That leaves the question of what motherboard to use.
Being the cheap bastard that I am, I'd like as inexpensive a motherboard as possible.
I don't care for T-bird support so an older model is fine; I'd be thrilled with a
closeout unit ! The only requirement is that it be OC friendly so that I can crank up
the Duron. Truth be told, I am now totally confused with the crop of motherboards
out there - just too many for me to track.

So to summarize, I need (1) Duron support, (2) good OC support, (3) cheap.
I don't need (1) T-bird support, (2) extras like onboard RAID, etc.
Does anyone have any motherboard recommendations that would fit my needs ?

TIA

Well as far as I know all chipsets supporting the duron support the T-Bird as well. I would suggest the MSI K7T Pro 2-A. You can get one of these for just over $100 online.

I've seen a number of Athlon motherboard that don't support T-birds (just
the older non-T-bird Athlons). Did I miss something ? thanks
