Looking for CEO Salaries

Hey Guys,

I'm looking for a general resource for CEO salary and comepnsation packages. Most annual reports don't contain this information. Any ideas? The newspaper seem to be able to dig up this information with relative ease.

I'm also looking for examples of CEO's acting in their own best intrest. Like Kodak's CEO's reduction in R&D to improve their bottom line and thus heir salary. I remember reading this a few years back but can not find any proof of it today.

Hoovers doesn't seem to offer this information without a subscription.

There's a website that has that info for non-profits... Guidestar or something like that. I imagine there is the same sort of thing for publicly-held companies.

Yeah, thats exactly what i'm looking for. I just havn't been able to find it. American or Canadian companies are fine.

i think this info has to be made public for publicly traded companies

I imagine Hoovers and D&B would have them...most schools have free access to those resources. Also, I thought annual reports were REQUIRED to include a section on top executive pay. Or maybe I'm just used to seeing that because all the big banks do it.

Type in the company's stock symbol into Google Finance and it will give you all of that information.
