I'm new to the sff computers like the shuttle,etc. I'm putting a computer together for a friend and would like to get some suggestions as to what to buy. I've put regular desktops together, but am kinda hazy in the area of the sff comps.
I'm looking for something AMD compatible. His requirements are pretty minor - basic stuff (browsing,games,etc) no need for big multimedia or anything - doesn't need overclocking capabilities either. But I don't want to get him the "lowest" thing available - something more in the mid range in terms of functioning. It also needs to fit a CDR, DVD player. Sound isn't a big thing - probably on board will be enough.
Any recomendations for a hard drive that works well with the smaller cases (heat,sound,etc?)
