Looking for best value for my inkjet printer

After my epson R220 ran out of the authentic ink it was packaged with, i bought the G&G generic alternative for this printer from meritline and they were good. I am in the market for more ink yet again, but i would like to find even better economical yet reliable ink. I see that on ebay they have a set for 10$ which is half what i payed for the G&G example here ebay However i am not sure if these are reliable and dont harm the printhead etc any feedback on that i would appreciate. Then i discovered the CIS (continuous ink system) method of feeding the printer ink which sounds like a great cost effective solution. I would like to know if either the affordable remanufactured ink from ebay (not sure what brand these are) or a CIS system are a good solution for this incessant cycle of needing ink.

thanks in advance!
