Well, our second girl is due in 3 weeks or less. We are having a hard time deciding on a name. Our first girl's name starts with letter "P". Looking for sugestions on girl names that also start with a "P". We like unique kind of names.

Any suggestions? :D

<edit> Hey, thanks for the input so far. The hard thing is having the wife decide. Also, if you know any cool, unique girl names that don't begin with "P" would be helpful...:D

First, congrats on your soon to be born.

The only one I could think of is Patrice. I would say Priscilla, but that's a little old fashioned, IMHO. Pippi... NAH! :p

Personally, if I had to choose one girl name above all others, it'd be Samantha. God what a sexy name.

My daughter had a classmate named Parisa (Pah-ree-sah), I thought that was kind of neat. I like that and Piper the best of all the P names.

Then there are the old-fashioned Polly, Paula, Pauline, and Paulette... it all depends on your last name, though. A friend of mine had the last name of Trubilla and she always joked she would name a daughter Priscilla...

Makes me think of A Fish Called Wanda
"And when he found out their daughter's name was Portia, he asked me, "Why did they name her after a car?"

I know someone who named their daughter Chlomedia - I am not kidding. Generally a good rule not to name your kids after venerial disease. I also heard someone named their twins Orangelo and Lemongelo (orange and lemon jell-o. I suggest that you don't do that either. As for girls names beginning with P - Penelope gets my vote (especially if the last name is Cruz :)

I can only recomemend that you don't name your daughters such that they have the same letter starting thier name, my paerents would always mess up my name after they had my brother, Peter. My name is Paul and they would regularly mess up although they never had a problem with my name before my brother.

Since somebody brought up weird names, our neighbors have named their child Echinacea. If you don't get it, look here..
