I would like to learn at self pace about general networking and internet security and exploits, in a non malicious manner. I'm enrolled in a diploma of network engineering for mid semester here in Aus and id like to get a bit of a headstart of network and internet security exploits and how to avoid them.
Fairly beginner and i need free articles as im broke =/
This is not going to be used in a malicious way, i'm mainly wanting to learn how to guard against attacks and exploits.
Any tips where i should start on my path to learning system/network admin?
Any links/tips/advice would be greatly appreciated.
