First of all, wrong forum. Post your message under I wanna but being junior member, it is OK.
Check Directron.com. They had Altec ACS33 for $25+shipping last week.

I can vouch for the ACS33s. They are the best cheap speakers you can buy. You will not be dissapointed.

Bali, turn on your private messaging. If you click on 'profile,' then about 3/4 of the way down you can 'allow private messages.'

I just got a set of Benwin EX-4 speakers/sub last weekend for $35. Not sure how they rate among anandtech users, but I like them a lot. Flat panel (not totally flat, they have asmall bulge in the back, but they look flat from the front) so I really like the way they look. I got them at PCClub, but I'm fairly certain they can be had at Best Buy for about the same price.

since were OT: anyone know of a good deal on just a 2 piece set? I've heard really good speakers that didn't have a sub once that had more bass coming out of 3" drivers I've ever heard.

What I would use them is for work.. I don't need a sub at work. I'd rather have the cost/quality put into the two speakers.
